Featured Project: Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids’ “Campaign for the Culture”

Campaign for the Culture

What we’re delivering Convenings & Virtual Facilitation

We design and lead convenings that bring the right stakeholders together while keeping conversations focused, engagement high, and next steps clear.

Webinars & Public Education

We plan and host webinars that translate policy and prevention into practical, culturally resonant messaging people can use and share. We partner with other high-level individuals and organizations to drive the message home.

Recruitment & Outreach

We identify, recruit, and engage leaders and partners to grow the network, expand participation, and strengthen local activation.

Faith Leader Development

We equip faith leaders as trusted messengers by providing tools, messaging, and support to promote tobacco-free messaging and advocate for healthier communities. We provide opportunities for faith leaders across denominations and religious practices to connect to policy advocacy campaigns on the ground.

Campus & Community Mobilization

We support outreach and engagement among:

  • HBCUs

  • Fraternities & Sororities

  • College Leaders & Student Organizations

  • Influencers and community voices

Intended outcomes (why it matters)

  • Increased awareness and adoption of tobacco-free messaging

  • Stronger leadership pipelines and community champions

  • Reduced tobacco industry influence on campuses and in communities

  • Greater engagement that supports policy change and healthier environments

  • Long-term impact: healthier lives, especially in communities that have been disproportionately targeted by the tobacco industry.

Role: Lead Consultant | Faith Outreach & Strategic Engagement

Focus: Community-driven, culture -shifting campaigns; leadership development, message development, volunteer recruitment, and partner cultivation to reduce the influence of the tobacco industry and advance policy outcomes.

Project overview:
Campaign for the Culture is a multi-channel effort to spread tobacco-free messages, build leaders, and strengthen momentum for policy change in spaces where commercial tobacco has historically targeted and harmed communities. Through convenings, strategic outreach, and leadership development, we mobilize trusted messengers and emerging leaders to advocate for healthier campuses and neighborhoods.
